The first tourist train "Colorful Guizhou" running from Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province to Vientiane in Laos will set off on its debut journey on May 8.

首趟“多彩贵州号”贵阳—老挝万象旅游专列将于5月8日至15日开行。

The tourist train will serve as a platform for tourism interaction and exchanges between Guizhou and Southeast Asia, thereby promoting the high-quality development of Guizhou's tourism industry.

依托中老铁路开行“多彩贵州号”旅游专列，旨在搭建贵州与东南亚地区的旅游互动交流平台，推动贵州旅游业高质量发展。

The carriages of the train are equipped with shower rooms and mobile charging facilities. Additionally, the entertainment carriages offer a range of services such as karaoke, cafés and bars.

据介绍，“多彩贵州号”贵阳—老挝万象旅游专列车体使用成都铁路局集团公司改造的高端列车车体，配备淋浴间、手机充电设备，娱乐车厢更设有卡拉OK、咖啡吧、酒吧等配套服务设施。

Tourists from Guizhou are allowed to reserve their tickets for this trip through local travel agencies or online platforms.

首列开行活动为期8天，贵州省内游客可在全省旅行社门市或在线平台预订。

During the trip, tourists will visit several places in Laos, including Vientiane, the country's biggest city; Vang Vieng, a paradise for outdoor sports; Luang Phabang, the city of cultural heritages; and the famous Kwang Si Waterfall.

旅行期间，游客将体验到神秘的老挝精华景点，包括全国政治、经济、文化中心和最大城市——万象，户外运动的天堂万荣、文化遗产古城琅勃拉邦、与维多利亚瀑布齐名的世界三大瀑布之一光西瀑布、中老两国友谊的见证——凯旋门等。

The train is expected to run on a regular monthly schedule, with extra trains added based on passenger flow.

据了解，该专列初期计划每月定期开行一班，根据客流情况适时加密车次。
