贵州大学、贵州中医药大学分别与伦敦城市大学签署合作备忘录现场。

A delegation from Southwest China's Guizhou province embarked on a journey to London Metropolitan University for an exchange and dialogue event on April 15.

4月15日下午，贵州省高校代表团一行赴伦敦城市大学访问并座谈交流。

During the visit, Guizhou University and Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine forged a memorandum of cooperation with London Metropolitan University, marking a significant stride towards internationalizing education.

访问期间，贵州大学、贵州中医药大学分别与伦敦城市大学签署合作备忘录，共促教育国际化。

Lu Yongzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, and secretary of the Education Work Committee of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, lauded London Metropolitan University for its achievements in talent cultivation and scientific research.

贵州省委常委、省委宣传部长、省委教育工委书记卢雍政在致辞中指出，伦敦城市大学历史悠久、享有盛誉，在人才培养、科学研究等方面取得了卓越成就。

Lu believes that this visit would further enhance exchanges and cooperation in the fields of education and culture between Guizhou and the UK, thereby propelling Sino-British relations towards greater heights.

他相信，通过此次访问能够进一步加强双方在教育文化领域的交流与合作，共同推动中英关系不断向前发展。

Guizhou's universities have fostered partnerships with several renowned British universities, engaging in collaborative education, joint training programs, and research initiatives.

贵州高校与英国多所知名大学建立了友好的合作关系，开展了合作办学、联合培养、科研合作等一系列富有成效的活动。

These collaborations have not only injected vitality into Guizhou's higher education sector, but also nurtured globally-minded and innovative talents. Lu extended an invitation for London Metropolitan University to visit Guizhou to fully comprehend its charm and educational practices.

这些合作不仅为贵州高等教育注入了新的活力，也为我们培养了一批具有国际视野和创新精神的人才。他表示，邀请城市大学去贵州感受贵州风姿、风韵、风味、风情。

Gary Davies, deputy vice-chancellor of London Metropolitan University, said that the university is proud of its diverse and inclusive community, and is willing to participate in future cross-cultural dialogues and collaboration.

伦敦城市大学加里·戴维斯副校长表示，伦敦城市大学以其多元和包容的社区而自豪，学校乐于参与跨文化对话和交流。

He envisioned the visit as paving the way for fruitful cooperation and extended a hearty invitation to more students from Guizhou to study at London Metropolitan University.
